Elmer Zelaya - Event Director
Elmer has 6 years of collegiate soccer coaching experience in NCAA Division 1 & 2 combined. He was Director of Soccer Operations at Southern Methodist University Men's Soccer from 2017-2020 & 2021, Graduate Assistant Women's and Men's Soccer Coach at Ohio Valley University from 2020-2021, Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at the University of Texas of Permian Basin from 2022-2023. Elmer was named Interim Head Women's Soccer Coach in October 2022 for the remainder of the 2022-2023 season. On top of his college coaching resume, Elmer has years of club soccer experience with coaching stints with Highland Park Soccer Academy and BVB IA North Texas. He continues to train athletes of all ages and has a passion to help them reach their goals.
